My love for photography started very early. I can remember the first time I took a picture. My Grandparents had a Polaroid camera and I loved hearing the sounds of the flashbulb crack and pulling the picture out and watching it develop as if it were magic. I walked around with that camera for hours taking pictures of everything I saw.
While I was in college my love for photography grew when I became a photographer for my college newspaper. I loved the photojournalistic side of photography - to shoot something spontaneous and real was pure joy. I enjoyed the darkroom and feeling the glow of the amber light and smelling the developer solutions while I worked on my submissions. I dreamed of one day being a photographer and owning my own business. I wanted to be a photographer who understood and captured the spontaneous, fleeting moments that we want to hold on to forever.
Once my children were born I started 2Angels Photography. My two angels, Michael and Gabriel and my amazing husband Beau are my inspiration. I want to save every smile, hug and tear - every moment.
Every time I hear that flash pop I think of that first shot I ever took and my grandmother smiling at that picture. It reminds me how far I have come and how far I want to go. Life changes so quickly, don’t wait until the perfect moment to capture your memories. Capture those spontaneous, crazy, and memorable moments now.
